About
Lotta María Ellingsen is a Professor and the Head of the Faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Iceland. She holds a PhD from Johns Hopkins University and specializes in developing automatic image analysis pipelines, both classical and AI-based. Her research focuses on developing algorithms for automated brain image analysis to support the early diagnosis of neurodegenerative diseases.
